Halloween Fiesta

Chicos from all our campuses are invited with their parents to join us for howling fun!  Kids get dressed up and dance around the classroom.  Teachers dress up too and we play really fun games!

Christmas Concert

Each year, Spanish Academy students perform a Christmas Concert singing Christmas songs in Spanish and give gifts of home-baked goods and school made gifts. Students are excited to help mom and dad make cookies and brownies to share with the elderly. At school we take all the sweet and special-baked goods and wrap up colorful plates of delicious treats for the group we perform for. We also make scarves for the elderly and students help us cut the scarves to perfection. After our recital, students are taken with a teacher or their mom or dad to pass out all the carefully prepared bountiful gifts. This is one of the most precious occassions in our school year. To see families with small children connect and interact with the local senior center is truly meaningful and heartfelt, not only for all of us, but for the people we touch in the community.

Dia de San Valentino

Celebrating Valentine's Day is quite cool.  All SA students come to the party with handwritten cards for each other and wholesome treats, fruits and vegetables to share.  Kids join together for another great celebration, sometimes in the snow!  More than anything, this party's focus is on friendship, getting to know each other better and team building skills.

Spring Concert for the Elderly

Spanish Academy students gather together to perform recitals and one of our favorites is the Spring Concert!  We make tissue flowers to pass out at the conclusion of our singing!

Community Outreach

We feel it's important for children to be involved in the community.  We plan clean-up events with city parks.  This allows our kids to feel that they are making a contribution to a healthy, clean environment.

Graduation on the Lawn

Graduation on the lawn is such a 'fantastico' celebration!  Our graduating kids where caps and gowns.  Students sing songs, do skits, recite poems and receive diplomas and awards.  Teachers and parent volunteers are acknowledged for their hard, caring work.  We then play hard with several stations of fun activities and finally share a yummy cake and ice cream!
