GREEN VALLEY: My First Sewing Class Session II; (Kinder only class & 1st – 5th grades, boys and girls are welcome; is taught in the English language)
Session II: Fridays, 12:30-1:30 p.m. (kinder only class) 3:10-4:10 pm (1st-5th grades), 2/1-5/10/19; Off: 2/15, 3/15, 4/5; $240 (includes material fee).

Kinder Sewing Class (boys & girls are welcome; is taught in the English language):
Students will start learning how to sew with Styrofoam plates & fun, colorful embroidery thread. Then they will transition on to fabric and an embroidery hoop. Techniques learned: using fabric, tying knots, tracing designs. Ultimately, they will graduate to stitching around objects on printed fabrics.
My First Sewing Class (1st – 5th grades, boys and girls are welcome; is taught in the English language):
“Mom, I want to learn how to sew!” Sewing is not only fun and creative; but, it is a useful learning skill. Children will learn how to safely thread a needle; draw and cut-out a pattern; and sew their own pieces by hand. Sewing techniques learned in this class: running stitch, slip stitch, how to sew buttons, and more. Children will make sock monsters, t-shirt creatures, bags/sacks, holiday decorations, etc All new projects this year.
Classes are taught at your Student's School unless otherwise noted. We will email you the classroom number where the class will be held as soon as we have an assignment from your school office.
